The Partnership of Intuition and Dreams

May 31, 2012
Richard Russo is an author, editor, and dream educator. He is a past president of the International Association for the Study of Dreams and current editor of DreamTime, a publication of the IASD. As Chair of the IASD Arts Committee, he curated over fifteen exhibitions of dream-inspired art. Dream work in our society has focused on the personal meaning of the dream for the dreamer, but dreams also reveal what is happening in the culture around us. In Part Two of this program on the cultural dimensions of dreaming, Richard Russo will describe Culture Dreaming, an innovative method of dream sharing developed by him and Meredith Sabini at the Dream Institute of Northern
California, whereby dreams are explored for their cultural meaning. He will also discuss some of the dreams they have collected in recent sessions that illuminate the nature of the “Great Turning” – the fundamental paradigm shift that our culture is undergoing. Learn More »
